Head Coach - Josh Murray
“Hi, my name is Joshua Murray. This is my second year coaching, however I have been swimming competitively since I was eight years old. I hope to bring to the Eels my experience, technique and knowledge from year around swimming with Neat and Churchill Varsity Swim Team. I am a college student, and I enjoy helping people be at their better potential and sharing my love of swimming with the Castle Hills Forest Eels! I’m looking forward to meeting each of you”. Assistant Coach - Travis French
“Hello, my name is Travis French. I will be coaching along side with Josh Murray this year for the Castle Hills Forest Swim Team. I have coached for the Eels Swim Team from 2009 – 2011. I was an Eels for six (6) years when I was younger. I am currently enrolled at the University of Texas in San Antonio. My hobbies are racquetball, biking and swimming. Swim Team Rules

In an effort to provide enhanced safety and structure during swim practice we are advising all swimmers to abide by the swim team/pool rules. We ask that these rules are covered with your swimmer(s) before next swim practice.

Swimmers that do not abide by these rules, will be asked by the Coaches to sit out for a period of time. Please be sure your swimmer follows the rules.

  • Listen to Coaches at all times
  • Repect Coaches.
  • No Swimming in the baby pool or diving well
  • In order to hear coach speak, stop talking to benefit from instruction
  • At the end of your lap, sit out on pool edge or stand out of the pool once you have completed your lap (team specific) You will be able to hear and see coach better when you are out of the pool
  • Wait for coach instructions and guidance before re-entering the pool
  • No horseplaying inside the pool area
  • Follow the rules
  • Most importantly have fun
